Everyone has a pelvic floor. It’s made up of the muscles that support the urinary, bowel and reproductive tracts. Dysfunction can cause incontinence (leaking urine or stool), pain, urinary urgency, frequent urinary voiding, constipation and sexual dysfunction.
The pelvic floor can also be a major contributor to pain in pre and postpartum as well as pregnancy.
